The Petzl Micro Traxion is an ultra-light, super-compact, self-jamming pulley that can be used in almost any situation from crevasse rescue to self-belaying. The Micro Traxion weighs only 85g and is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, so you can take it with you anywhere.

For a small pulley, the Micro Traxion has many useful features. It can be used in an open mode as a simple pulley or as a self-jamming pulley (simply lower the locking cam) to self belay or to use as an emergency ascender, and is exceptionally efficient due to it's sealed ball bearings. It also works well on frozen or muddy ropes.
