Karabiners and Quickdraws
Karabiners are metal loops with gates that allow rope and climbing equipment to be quickly inserted or removed. They come in two main types; locking and non-locking.
Quickdraws are used to attach rope to pieces of protection when lead climbing. They consist of two non-locking karabiners attached by a sling. They come in a variety of lengths and styles for all types of lead climbing.
