The La Sportiva Nepal Extreme is an exceptionally comfy mountaineering and ice climbing boot, whether you are tackling a windswept scottish gully or front pointing up an ice pillar.
When fitted correctly the Nepal Extreme hardly takes any wearing-in at all and should be comfy and supportive straight out of the box!
The Nepal Extreme has a triple laminate Synergy lining with 200g 3M Thinsulate© for increased warmth at high altitude and in extreme cold, giving an increased level of comfort and warmth, while the stiff Vibram® sole will take any type of crampon and binding.
The 3.2+mm silicone impregnated Idro-Perwanger roughout leather with increased coverage sticky rubber rands stands up to scraping talus and crampon abuse. The EZ Roller Lacing System, including EZ Lock D-Rings and EZ Out lace loop make getting in and out of the boot effortless.
The Nepal Extreme also has a unique volume reducing system. The tongue is attached with a velcro strip and can easily be moved forwards or backwards within the boot, to reduce or increase volume to tailor the fit perfectly to you foot.
